Mark Sampson has been making audiences laugh for over 25 years, touring both nationally and internationally.
Mark Sampson came to SA in 1992 to work as a laboratory scientist at The Red Cross Children’s hospital. He quickly gave up science for a career in comedy. As co-founder of the Cape Comedy Collective Sampson produced and hosted the first South African comedy show at the Edinburgh fringe festival in 2003.
In 2011 Sampson performed at COP17 for the EU, two years later he left Cape Town to travel across 38 countries and 47,000 kms around Africa in a Clockwise direction. Sampson now has the world record as the first to circumnavigate Africa in a carbon neutral vehicle
