Justine Jones

Justine, an incredibly talented musician and performer, was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

She hails from a musical family, her grandfather Hedley Jones Sr. was a renowned musician, audio engineer, and inventor of the first solid-body electric guitar, as well as the designer of Jamaica’s first sound system.
By age two, she astounded everyone by independently playing the C major scale on the piano. Her mother, a renowned music teacher and musician in Jones’ jazz band, is Jamaica’s top female trombonist and currently heads the music department at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC).
Justine showcased her musical prowess by mastering the guitar, clarinet, saxophone, and flute during her time in the high school band, various concert bands, and other musical ensembles. Eventually, she transitioned into a role as a music teacher before embarking on her inaugural cruise ship journey as a lounge band singer.
