Jahan

Virtuoso Pianist

Virtuoso pianist, composer, and performer blending classical, jazz, and contemporary.

Jahan  is a Los Angeles-based virtuoso pianist, composer, and songwriter known for his dynamic artistry and diverse musical talents.

He began playing the piano at age seven, displaying a natural gift that soon led him to prestigious performance opportunities. Early in his career, he became a featured act alongside Grammy-winning jazz guitarist Stanley Jordan, accompanied Persian pop star Andy Madadian at the Greek Theater, and performed at Jim Carey’s Global Alliance for Transformational Entertainment festival in Los Angeles. He was later commissioned to compose and perform original piano pieces at hotel galas in Hong Kong for Women Helping Women and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Jahan pursued formal studies in composition and piano under renowned musicians, including Mike Garson, David Bowie’s longtime keyboardist. He was accepted into UCLA at 16, where he honed his craft with professors Ian Krouse, Kay Rhie, David Lefkowitz, and David Kaplan.

Balancing scholarship with performance, Jahan participated in the LA Philharmonic’s Nancy and Barry Sanders Composer Fellowship Program, won first prize in the 2023 Tigran Mansurian Composition Competition, and earned the Stanley Wilson Memorial Scholarship for outstanding composition students.

As a performer, Jahan’s range spans classical, jazz, and contemporary genres. He has played Rachmaninoff concerti with the Thousand Oaks Philharmonic, delivered R&B and funk performances at iconic LA venues like the Mint and the Viper Room, and developed a distinctive solo show built around musical improvisation. His color-inspired piano miniatures have garnered tens of millions of views on social media.
