Danny Vic Sorriso

A jazz guitarist who also masters every other style with electrifying versatility

Danny, born in Rimini, Italy, in 1986, spent his entire childhood in his hometown. It was there, at the age of 13, that he received his first guitar, sparking a lifelong passion for music.

His early fascination with jazz sparked a remarkable journey. He pursued and earned two degrees from the Buzzolla and Venezze Conservatories, studying under some of Italy’s most renowned jazz musicians, including Fabio Zeppetella, Paolo Silvestri, and others like Michele Francesconi, Luciano Zadro, and Joe Pisto.

Danny had the privilege to perform alongside these mentors at a jazz club in Rimini, an experience that solidified his passion and skill in the genre. In 2019, he seized his first opportunity as a guitarist aboard the MSC Grandiosa cruise ship, followed by another engagement on the MSC Preziosa two years later. Onboard, Danny showcased his versatility by performing in shows ranging from Michael Bublé tributes to ABBA tributes, enriching his musical repertoire and audience interaction skills.
