Chris Bevan is an exciting and energetic electric bassist and musical director from the UK

A born performer, Chris’ enthusiasm for music shines through in his playing and captivating stage presence. An excellent sight-reader and improviser, he takes great pride in being able to thrive in a huge range of musical styles. Passionate about entertaining, he brings energy and commitment to every show he’s a part of.

Chris has worked extensively aboard cruise ships, entertaining audiences across the world in everything from full-throttle party bands to more reserved sideman roles. Working with P&O Cruises and Explora Journeys, he’s been fortunate to perform at sea with fantastic artists such as Joe McElderry, Lee Mead, La Voix and Kuba Kawnik.

Also an adept double bassist with a background in classical music, Chris has performed at prestigious music venues across the UK, including the Royal Festival Hall and Royal Albert Hall.

Throughout his musical study and professional career, he has been a constant fixture in orchestras, big bands, jazz trios and function bands, developing a reputation as an adaptable and dependable musician. He also loves musical theatre, and has worked on productions of Rent, Legally Blonde, The Wedding Singer and more.
