Saxophone and Guitar duo from Bulgaria!

Galathea and Maria showcase their vocal talents as well as saxophone and guitar playing skills. Their diverse repertoire includes popular jazz standards, bossa nova, blues, and swing songs.

Both met at the Academy of Music, Dance, and Arts in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, where they began collaborating. Galathea has performed as a saxophonist in Spain, including six months in Catalonia, and another six months in Gran Canaria. She has also performed extensively around Bulgaria as a solo artist and in various projects. She holds bachelor’s degrees in pop and jazz saxophone and pop and jazz singing and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sound engineering.

Maria is completing her bachelor’s degree in pop and jazz guitar in 2024. She has participated in numerous projects, including a rock band and another duet performing popular songs, evergreens, and rock music. Additionally, Maria also teaches guitar!

Both Galathea and Maria are motivated and dedicated to entertaining audiences, and to live performance.
