Bella is a Melbourne-born international classical-crossover soprano, versatile in musical styles
Bevan is an international classical-crossover soprano originally from Melbourne, Australia. As the granddaughter of a violinist she learnt violin from when she could walk, before later receiving classical vocal lessons from tutors from the Queensland Conservatorium. Bevan then went on to study a BA in musical theatre at BAPA (University of Ballarat/FedUni). Today, Bella is a unique hybrid of lyrical-soprano and mezzo-belter which allows her to cover a wide range of musical styles, however is best known for her classical-crossover work.
Bevan has worked in theatre, cabaret, concerts, studio recording, night clubs and event work where she has sung with orchestras or fronted bands from 5 pieces to duos. She released her pop/dance EP ‘High Tides’ last year (Spotify, Apple, SoundCloud, YouTube). Bevan spent most of her early career in London singing in some of the city’s most prestigious venues but has now worked all over the world. She has created and performed a handful of one-woman cabarets featured at Melbourne’s Butterfly Club and The Clocktower Theatre, as well as London’s Toulouse Lautrec and Crazy Coqs. Her most notable theatre credit has been her performance as Mae West in the critically acclaimed musical ‘Better Than Sex’ at London’s the Cockpit Theatre in 2021.
