Alejandro LLanes

Cocktail Pianist and Reading Keys Player

Passionate pianist captivating audiences with diverse musical talent

From a very early age, Alejandro Llanes exhibited a profound passion for music. In sixth grade, inspired by the movie “Los Zafiros Locura Azul,” he gathered four classmates to form a quartet, aptly named after the film. This group quickly made a name for themselves, performing at various events in their hometown of Ciro Redondo (Pina) and participating in several festivals. Their success ignited a love for music not only in Alejandro but in all the members, launching them into the vibrant amateur music scene of the time.

In eighth grade, Alejandro took a significant step forward by starting piano lessons with Alberto La Rosa, the director of the group “Escorpión.” His determination to excel grew, leading him to pass the leveling exams and enroll at the Center for Art and Culture of Camagüey in 2007. Under the guidance of inspiring teachers like Yaquelin Lancara and the crucial support of Elizabeth L. Vidal, he graduated with a specialization in Piano on November 26 of the same year.

His talents shone brightly at the JoJazz International Jazz Competition in 2008, where he proudly became the first participant from his province. In 2012, he won the “Best Original Music” award at the Ávila television festival Estudio Abierto for the short film Adentro. Following these achievements, he took his skills to the Blau Colonial hotel in Cayo Coco and is currently dazzling audiences at the X Belex hotel in Türkiye – Antalya.
